None of what we do would be possible without the generosity of our partners! They understand that this program is one that can give back to its contributors in the industry far more than what it receives. FIRST Robotics is the largest pre-college competitive robotics program in the world, and the students in this program are the best engineers and scientists that no one even knows about yet. Sponsoring - and better yet mentoring - a team puts their company in the minds of these young professionals before they even have a major picked out. FIRST definitely teaches these kids how to solve complex engineering problems, sure. But even more importantly it teaches them to work on a team under the pressure of fierce competition, to rapidly evolve their designs, to integrate their business model with their engineering, to lead, to self-advocate, at best of all - to be graciously professional in an atmosphere where cooperation and competition are fused.
